Bright Stars school (BSIP) was founded in 2017 in the Bago region to support Myanmar’s education system and provide quality learning opportunities for children. As Myanmar faces challenges such as a shortage of qualified teachers, large class sizes, and outdated teaching methods, BSIP aims to overcome these by using authentic learning, modern teaching methods, educational technology, and well-prepared lesson plans that reflect students’ multiple intelligences. Our vision is to help students grow academically, socially, and personally, while encouraging them to become responsible, respectful, and confident individuals.
To ensure teachers are well-equipped, we conduct annual training programs covering educational psychology, theory, and methodology. We also maintain a good pupil-teacher ratio and encourage active learning through activities and projects. Beyond academics, BSIP places strong emphasis on students’ physical growth by including physical education, organizing sports days, hiking events, and teaching healthy lifestyles. We also provide excursions each year where students learn about culture, business, politics, and the natural environment.
Despite economic challenges, families continue to prioritize education, and BSIP strives to meet their expectations by offering a nurturing environment where students can be happy, healthy, and successful. With branches now in Ayeyarwady and Yangon, BSIP continues to grow with a clear five-year master plan and a strong commitment to building a brighter future for our children.
