Bright Stars + Taxila College Collaboration - GED

We are pleased to announce an exciting new collaboration between Bright Stars International School - Bago and University of Taxila, Myanmar's only GED® Authorized Provider that is not a testing center . Together, we have officially launched the GED® Authorized Preparation Center right here in Bago, bringing international educational opportunities closer to our students . This partnership opens doors for students seeking to earn their GED credential—an internationally recognized high school equivalency qualification accepted by colleges and universities worldwide. Through this collaboration, our students will have access to quality preparation programs for both Pre-GED and GED examinations, guided by experienced pedagogues from both institutions . The opening ceremony was held on March 16, 2025, at Parami Garden in Bago, with over 150 students, parents, teachers, and staff in attendance . The event featured inspiring speeches from Dr. Aung Kyaw, President of University of Taxila, and U Myint Zaw, Managing Director of Bright Stars International School, along with informative sessions about GED programs and American-Myanmar dual degree opportunities . We are excited about this collaboration, which reflects our commitment to providing diverse educational pathways and preparing our students for successful futures on a global stage.
